Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 4, 2026
This policy supplements the Terms of Service and applies to the DropZone app, the public website, community features, public routes, and support channels related to the product.
Safety, honesty, and platform integrity come first
We may limit features, reduce visibility, remove content, or suspend accounts when we detect conduct that creates safety risks, fraud, technical abuse, privacy intrusions, or material violations of these rules.

Scope and relationship with other documents
This policy should be read together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you use DropZone, you agree to follow these rules in addition to any law, local regulation, or trail-access restriction that applies.
- It applies to registered accounts, website visitors, and people who submit public routes, rankings, feedback, or support requests.
- Free, premium, experimental, or build-specific features are also subject to this policy.
- You should only use DropZone if you can validly consent and take responsibility for how you use the service.
02Account integrity and access

Account integrity and access
We expect each account to represent a legitimate person or actor and to be used honestly. You may not misrepresent identity, evade security controls, or use someone else's access to gain benefits or escalate privileges.
- Do not share credentials or use accounts that are not yours.
- Do not impersonate other people, brands, crews, shops, or organizations, and do not use misleading names or avatars.
- Do not create secondary accounts to evade sanctions, route reviews, or commercial restrictions.
- Do not perform intrusion testing, enumeration, credential stuffing, or social-engineering attacks against DropZone without written authorization.
03Safety, routes, and real-world behavior

Safety, routes, and real-world behavior
DropZone supports outdoor and high-risk activities. You must use it in a way that is compatible with your own safety and the safety of others, understanding that the app does not by itself validate the legal, physical, or environmental status of any trail, access point, or line.
- Do not use DropZone to promote or conceal trespassing, closed-trail access, restricted-area access, or illegal activity.
- Do not publish or follow routes in a reckless, misleading, or dangerously decontextualized way if that could place other people at risk.
- Do not use the app while doing so creates an unsafe distraction for you or for others.
- You must independently verify weather, terrain status, signage, permits, and technical difficulty before riding.
04Community content and public routes

Community content and public routes
If you share feedback, routes, descriptions, photos, or any other content, you are responsible for making sure it is lawful, reasonably accurate, and appropriate for a sports community. We may review, moderate, hide, or remove content when needed.
- Do not publish offensive, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, fraudulent, or abusive content.
- Do not upload routes or metadata that you know are false, manipulated, or dangerously incomplete.
- Do not share third-party personal data, sensitive locations, home addresses, or private access points without sufficient authorization.
- Do not publish content that infringes third-party copyright, trademark, privacy, image, or confidentiality rights.
05Technical abuse, scraping, and commercial misuse

Technical abuse, scraping, and commercial misuse
Service stability depends on reasonable use. You may not intentionally affect the availability, performance, security, or reliability of DropZone, or reuse its data or assets for unauthorized commercial purposes.
- Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, or automatically collect data unless you have written authorization.
- Do not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or bypass rate limits, paywalls, feature flags, or access controls.
- Do not upload malware, harmful payloads, abusive automation, artificial traffic, or code that degrades the service.
- Do not resell, repackage, or use public routes, rankings, or user datasets to build competing services, catalogs, or bulk derivatives without permission.
06Enforcement, reports, and contact

Enforcement, reports, and contact
When we detect a violation, we may act proportionally or immediately depending on the risk. If you need to report abuse, an intellectual-property issue, a security problem, or if you believe we applied this policy in error, you can contact us.
- We may remove content, hide routes, freeze features, limit requests, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access.
- We may preserve logs, technical evidence, and reasonably necessary records to investigate fraud, abuse, claims, or security incidents.
- The version published on the website or inside the app will be the current governing version of this policy.
